Flow Getting Started Guide

This article will walk you through installing your app, setting up your account, and pairing your Flow to your mobile device.  

Start by downloading and launching the Flow app from the Apple App Store. 

If you are brought to this screen, you are looking at our Plume Labs Air Report app.  This is NOT the correct app for Flow.  We hope you like Air Report and continue using it along with your Flow!  However, you will need to download a separate app for Flow to move forward with installation.  

This is the screen you will see when you are brought to the Flow app.  

Returning Flow User?  Tap LOG IN. 

Use the Air Report app?  Tap LOG IN.  

First-time User?  Tap SIGN UP.

NOTE: If you registered for Air Report using Facebook or Google, you will have to tap SIGN UP on this screen.  

Privacy

First time Flow users will be brought to this screen.  Read our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy and tap ACCEPT to continue.  

 

Account Setup

Enter your email address and choose and confirm a strong password.  Your password must be at least 8 characters. Tap NEXT to continue. 

To complete your profile, enter your first and last name and tap CREATE.  

Installation

Before starting the installation process, you will need to make sure your Flow is near your mobile device to avoid any issues with Bluetooth connection. 

After creating your account, you will be brought to this screen.  Tapping GET HELP will take you to some articles to help you as you’re getting started.  Tap START to begin the installation process.  

The Set Up screen will prompt you to tap NEXT to look for your Flow. 

You will be alerted by this popup once your Flow has been detected.  After tapping NEXT, you will be prompted to pair your mobile device with your Flow.  

This screen will show you all of the Flows within Bluetooth distance of your mobile device.  Choose the Flow whose last six digits match that of your device ID. You can find this 12 digit, alpha-numeric identifier at the bottom of the box your Flow came in or at the bottom of your Flow’s docking station.  

 

You will be taken to this screen once your Flow is connected.  Tap NEXT to begin the brief update process.  

This screen should load for no more than 5 minutes. 

 

 

Congrats!  When your Flow is connected, you will be brought to this screen.  Tap NEXT to continue into the Flow app.  

 

Tapping START will bring you to a few helpful tips for getting started with Flow.   

 

Tap NEXT to be brought to the next tip or SKIP to skip this section.  

Once you have been brought to the last tip, tap GOT IT!  To enter the Flow app.  

 

Finally, you will be brought to the Warm Up Period.  This generally takes under 15 minutes total. Once this is complete, you will be ready to take your Flow for a spin!
