Do I need a smartphone and the companion app to use Flow?

Yes. Flow’s companion app is where your air pollution exposure data is stored and is your main point of access to this information.

Flow also uses the location services of your device to add geo-location info to your readings. This means that any air pollution tracking you do while disconnected from your device will be without location data.

The Flow companion app is compatible with devices running iOS 11 or higher (iPhone 4s or higher, iPod 5th gen. and higher, iPad 3rd gen. and higher) and Android 5.0 and higher (with internet & BLE support)
